GxG Server provides a service-harness environment to serve up web pages, data, publish apis, and enforce the admin's security preferences. Each service is written in such a way as to self-document the event to be called complete with Description and Usage example. Heap, State-Data (preserved across restarts), and Configuration sub-system provided. Also, file-system storage is provided per service in the Public directory.
Services can call upon other services to perform tasks. Each Service has an event dispatcher with a default of 200 thread slots per 0.333 seconds (about 3 times a second).

GxG Server
Requirements:
JRuby (any recent version) Thus far it has only been tested on Ubuntu Server
Installation:
git clone as usual
chown -R www-data:www-data gxg-server
cd gxg-server
sudo ./install.rb
sudo -u www-data ./setup.rb
Note: you can either run ./console OR ./server start BUT NOT BOTH. So:
sudo -u www-data ./console
OR
sudo -u www-data ./server start
Note: GxG Server is intended to sit behind a proxy server. Here is an example configuration for Apache 2:

ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:32767/
